What does it look like when your whole life belongs to Jesus, with no exceptions and nothing held back? In the final message of our stewardship series, Rev. Doug de Graffenried tells the story of a woman who made change out of the offering plate and admits he’s done the same thing with God. From Jesus’ greatest commandment to the widow’s two quiet coins, this message calls us to love God with all we are and to invest in a future we may never fully see.

We spend much of our lives working for the things we have, building financial security, and planning for the future. But what happens when the things we own begin to own us?
In Matthew 22:15–22, Jesus is asked a question about paying taxes to Caesar. His answer reveals something much deeper about our relationship with God, our possessions, and the way we live our lives.
In this week's message, Pastor Doug explores what it means to be created in God's image and how recognizing that everything we've been given is entrusted to us can transform the way we think about generosity, stewardship, and the impact we have on others. The question isn't simply how much we give to God, but what God can do through everything we've been given.

The king’s banquet is ready, and the invitation is open to everyone. But what keeps us from coming?
Continuing our stewardship series, we move from entrusted to invited. Jesus’ parable of the wedding banquet shows how easily good things like work, money, security and our own plans can crowd out God’s invitation. It also shows that grace both welcomes us as we are and begins to change us once we’re at the table.
You’ll also hear the story of Donnie, whose secret “Operation Hush Money” tithing experiment, meant to prove his preacher wrong, ended in a confession over a Chinese buffet and a life set free from the grip of money.
As we approach Consecration Sunday on October 25, this message invites us to ask one question before we fill out a commitment card: Whose invitation is shaping my life?

Jesus’ parable of the vineyard reminds us that everything we have has been entrusted to us by God: our time, talents, resources, relationships, and even the church itself. In the first message of The Measure of a Disciple, Rev. Doug de Graffenried challenges us to rethink stewardship not simply as what we give, but as how we care for everything God has placed in our hands.
Everything is just passing through. The question is: what are we doing with what God has entrusted to us?
